Arnold is a 3 year-old Manx that was found living in a parking lot less than a year ago. He was almost 3 when we decided to start toilet training.
 
What made you decide to toilet train your cat?
Arnold has always been good about using the little box but got litter everywhere whenever he went. The litter box also made our entire apartment stink.

What was the easiest step for you and your cat during training?
Arnold learned to use the toilet without the training seat in only 3 weeks! Once he realized that he would get a treat for using the potty he had no trouble!

What was the hardest step for you and your cat during training and why?
Arnold did not understand why we took away his little box or where he was supposed to go. Because of this, he didn’t use the potty at all for a few days.

What tip(s) would you give others when toilet training their cat?
Place some used litter into the training potty to help your cat understand that his litter box isn’t gone, (it's) just moved! Once we figured that out, our cat used the potty within minutes of sniffing it!

Would you recommend cat toilet training to others and why?
Yes! It has saved me so much time cleaning, has saved me money on purchasing litter, and has even improved my allergies!
